Tony Warren is a name that will forever be synonymous with Granada Television and, of course, with Coronation Street. Tony’s death, earlier this month at the age of 79, ended a career that spanned Granada from 1960 through to the present time. He will be sorely missed by all those who knew him and worked with him over the years. Sadly we never managed to interview him for the Granadaland oral history project before his death.
